Disaster Vacation - Episode 5 - Part I - Departure

Well, I guess it's been a while, but since I have told everyone why I couldn't put this chapter up I hope this comes as a major surprise to you all.
I have been very busy and have now caught up with my back order of drawings! ;)
I have begun writing the next bit - all I have to do now, is wait about a month until I get my new pc!!!
Perhaps if The Sims 2 continues running fine then I will, maybe, have another update before then.
Anyway, enough of my blabbering, go check out the episode!

Hi everyone. This is just a short note to let you all know that I have managed to take pictures for another episode of Night Heroes, and hopefully by the end of this week, I would have finished editing the pictures, and uploaded the episode.

Also, I have been writing Confessions of a Snow Queen, and I have a lot of chapters ready just waiting for the pictures. There is less than one month left for half days, so hopefully I can get a lot of it done over the summer. Fingers crossed.

And finally for those of you who are interested, I have put of Chapter 2 of my novel The Prophecy online now. Those of you who are interested in reading it (it is not a sims story), you can do so by going to my blog and following the links. And if you can please spread the word to your friends, even your those who aren't Sims fans, as this isn't a sims story.

On Hiatus...

I've posted this on my blog, but thought I should let everyone who reads the news updates know, also.  I'm taking some time off from sims stories.  I don't intend to update anything that involves taking new pics until my kids are back in school, which will be mid August.  You can read more on my blog post here, but what it basically boils down to is stress.  I've been quite overwhelmed as of late, and just not in the mood to work on sims projects.  Right now it feels like more work, instead of fun, and my heart just isn't in it.  Instead, I've been trying to get my old novel polished up so I can try to submit if for publishing.  I hope to get it done in the next couple of weeks.

I will post (eventually) the last two chapters of Between the Light and the Darkness, since those pictures are already done, it's just a matter of sitting down and getting it posted to my blog.  But other updates are going to be put on hold unless I feel pulled to work on them, but I'm not going to push it.  I need a break.  With hubby going in for neck surgery on June 4th and the kids getting out of school for the summer two days prior, we're going to be quite busy!

IT'S CONTEST TIME!

I thought what better way to bring in the spring then with a contest? 

So here's the low-down...

It can be in any format you want, short story, poem, *video etc. 

But it has to have the line "and that's when I realized..." fill in the blank. It can be about anything, happy/sad anything. If you win, you get to be co-judge for the next contest, and your winning story is featured on the site! sweet huh? ;) 

Send all written entries/links to videos etc. to LexieSimTales@gmail.com you can send in entries as early as tomorrow,(April 22nd,2009)  the deadline is May 16th,2009 which gives you exactly...24 days. Me and Ashley are going to be the judges.
